Order by custom date field

    Hey everybody

    does anybody know how to configure the query within Swift Template to order by a custom date field (e.g. book_details_publication-date (datepicker)?

    Couldn`t figure it out until days right now. 🙁

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    Since you are using WCK Pro please submit a support ticket because we are not allowed to offer support for paid plugins on these free forums.

    Go to your Swift Templates and inside Query Arguments add:

    - Query Arguments: Meta Key
Value: book_details_publication-date

- Query Arguments: Order By
Value: meta_value

- Query Arguments: Order
Value: ASC

    Also make sure the book_details_publication-date Datepicker field uses the Date Format: ISO 8601 (extended) – yy-mm-dd

    After you change the date format go to your posts and update the date using the new format. Make sure the date is using the new format.
