Hi @studioviv ,
Indeed, the text should be “Added to Cart” instead of “Add to Cart” after pressing the button. We have reported this to our developers but it seems they overlooked it.
Thanks for bringing it up again. I will send a request to our developers so that they can change it in the coming updates. Please check back later.
Best regards.
Hi @studioviv ,
So I discussed with our developers about your request. And today, I’ve got as response from them officially.
It turns out that, by default, when customers press the Add to cart button, a text “added” is dsiplayed next to the button solely. We add the check icon next to the text instead of showing this text since customers might want to press the button again to re-add or add more units to the cart for their needs.
Showing the “Added to cart” text might confuse buyers that the text can only be pressed once and they will need to reload the page to press it again.
So our developers said, from the technical perspective, they wouldn’t add this text to the front end display or make this option in the plugin settings.
So for your case, if you would like to notify buyers that the item has been added to cart properly, you can use our WPC Added to Cart Notifications https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-added-to-cart-notification/ to display a popup or notification for that. Plus, you can promote and encourage buyers with cross-selling and upselling offers from the popup.
You can learn more about this here: https://demo.wpclever.net/wooac/?utm_source=content&utm_medium=wooac&utm_campaign=wporg
Best regards.
Hello @janilyn409 ,
Thank you for bringing this up to the developers and getting it back to me. I’ll check the notification plugin.
