Option “Enable Javascript in the site footer” doesn’t work! The script is still displayed at the top in head. Why? Tried different themes

for good reason it should work for everyone, not just for some users

You missed my email. I replied again today. You are using the Autoptimize plugin which is controlling how the JS file should be loaded at your website. It’s loading the JS file in the footer at the moment.
