Hi @donnawpadmin, thank-you for reaching out to us.
Sorry to see you’re having trouble with optimizing the firewall, I will certainly try to help identify that issue for you and get you up and running. Extended protection means that the firewall can run before the pages on your site load, so that malicious activity gets stopped before any access to forms, scripts or your database are attempted.
Can you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com so I can take a look at the configuration you’re running? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.
Note: For the fastest response time, please make sure and add any information or questions directly to this topic and not the email address above unless asked.
Thanks,
Peter.
Hi @donnawpadmin,
I was just checking topics without further replies from the week and notice you have sent the diagnostic through without posting back to let me know. Not to worry, but apologies for the delay as a result.
I can’t see any connectivity or permissions issues from your diagnostic and your host doesn’t appear in other cases where the plan or permissions on their side might be a problem for you.
We may need to try a few steps with you if that’s OK? Does the optimization run and result in a non-blank site if Wordfence is the only plugin enabled? Sometimes conflicts with other plugins running scripts as the site loads can cause a fatal error that stops the loading process going any further.
Thanks,
Peter.
