• I use Wordfence on a website that sits behind a proxy server that needs additional NTLM authentication to connect to external websites or IPs. As the optimized Firewall uses an own http-library (and is loaded before wordpress), i think it doesn’t use the curl-actions and filters provided by wordpress or the authentication username / Password Constants defined in the wp-config.php. How can i get the wordfence optimized firewall to use the correct proxy settings for connecting to external ips/websites?

Excuse me, miswrote a little detail: the proxy requires BASIC authentication, not NTLM.

    Hi @kuchenundkakao

Please send your Wordfence diagnostics report.

Update to the latest version of Wordfence if you haven’t already done so.

Go to the top of the “Diagnostics” tab on the Wordfence “Tools” page. There will be a “SEND REPORT BY EMAIL” button to send the diagnostics report. Enter wftest [at] wordfence [dot] com as the email and kuchenundkakao as the forum username please.

Once you have emailed me the diagnostics report can you reply here to let me know that it has been sent. This is important in the unlikely event that your installation of WordPress is having an issue with sending mail
