Opt-in confirmation email

    Hi,

    I use Contact Form 7 to put a form on the website. We want the entries to be automatically added to Mailchimp, so we have used the Contact form 7 Mailchimp Plugin.

    Our Mailchimp account requires us to use double opt-in and do not accept single opt-in at the moment. So, we have enabled Double Opt-in for CF7, and enabled Double Opt-in in Mailchimp.

    We are trying to make an opt-in confirmation email, and we could not find a way to do that in the CF7, so we thought we have to do it through MailChimp, through the Form builder.

    But it needs 3 fields: From, Reply-to, Subject.

    We are not sure what Merge Tags to put in the Reply-to, so that it containts the email of users that subscribe in our website through CF7 forms.

    Hello,

    DO you mean you have used our CF7 integration or some other addon for CF7 to connect with MailChimp.com?

    The Double opt-in can only be enabled from our plugin’s CF7 integration setting and not from “CF7” form. The double opt-in email is sent from your MailChimp account and you do not need to set it up, it works by default.
