It is not possible to do exactly what you suggest.
As a workaround, it should be possible to add your own link direct to the file, beneath the embed. For example:
[pdf-embedder url=”https://mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/MyDocument.pdf”%5D
< a href=”https://mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/MyDocument.pdf” >Open PDF Here! < /a >
Also, our Premium version has a ‘full screen’ mode: https://wp-pdf.com/premium/
