only see code when trying to run installation script

Hi. I have created a database, input the correct information into we-config.wp (everything from database name to the keys), uploaded all the files to a blog subdirectory, but when I try to run the installation script, all the browser displays is the code for the installation process. I’ve triple checked everything. What else can I look for?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
