    Hi, I manage a news site with many authors and guest authors.
    I have two problems:
    1. A user “Masini Roberto” has created some posts with his name and others with different guest authors. The author’s page is displayed with no description (it exists but is not displayed) and the name is wrong.
    2. I would like the posts of the author author “Masini Roberto” to be displayed on the author’s page only if they have “Masini Roberto” as their author, and if they have personalized posts (created by “Masini Roberto”)

    I would appreciate an answer as soon as possible, it is important for my site.
    Thanks a lot.

    Please let me know if version 4.0 resolves your issue. If not, here is the old support faq for this issue.

    == Frequently Asked Questions ==

    = How can I stop Guest Author posts from showing up on my posts feed?

    As of 4.0, your guest author posts should no longer show up on your posts feed. If you still have this issue:

    While the author link ideally should go to the authors web page, your guest author posts will show up as one of your posts. You can get around the list problem by creating a new user called Guest Author. Create your guest author posts under this user or use an author switch plugin to change the registered author. That way, guest author posts will show up under the user “Guest Authors” instead of your account.

    Please visit the FAQ page on our site at

    Our premium version handles this seamlessly.

    This update seemed to work but because there was another issue on the users website with author archives that remains unresolved, the option is now a beta option available in the settings that users are free to try.

    Unresolved problem.

    Correct. This issue has not been marked as resolved.
