One Product – Multiple keys available

    I am working with ebooks. The publisher has provided me with multiple keys for each ebook title. Do I have to create an individual ebook product for each key or can I associate one ebook with multiple keys i.e. when a customer purchases the ebook, they are emailed one of the licence keys from the inventory (therefore reducing the inventory of available licence keys for that ebook by one).

    thank you for your message and for using my plugin.

    You can assign multiple license keys to one product. However, the customer then won’t know which license (product in your case) he is getting on purchase. If that is important, then I suggest creating a variable product, with a variation for each title. You can then assign each variation a different license, i.e. one ebook title per variation.

    The plugin now also has an automatic stock management feature, meaning that it will take care of the product stock so that you don’t have to worry.
