One Database?

Hi everyone, im trying to build a site with the bilingual feature. I tried to install some language plugins but none of them gives me what i want so i found this MULTISITE option on wordpress and i have a few questions about this. So, someone please reply as soon as you can.

I want to have to sites under my Multisite network and i want to be able to upload pictures, add new pages and change content on the pages and i need this to be updated automatically on the second site.
I also need to have different configuration on some themes for each site. For example, Im using CATABLOG to display my items, so i want to change how they look/display on each page but at the same time when i create a new item on site 1 to be added also on site 2 automatically.

So, in conclusion what i need is:
-being able to upload, edit and create on SITE 1 and update this info automatically on the second site.
-Have different settings, for example if i want to change the title of a menu item or the title of a page.

Someone please reply to this post, and tell me if this is possible.
