@eswilson – With click triggers there should be no delay in activation, that said if you have a long delay on your animation time then it can appear that it takes forever to open.

I see the grid but clicking on them all none of them trigger a popup. Can you elaborate on how to trigger it?

sorry about the missing triggers. i ran into an issue between the essential grid tutorial and this post. that page should be working again so you can see what im referring to.

@eswilson – We have added some new methods to our click trigger docs that allow you to add a #popmake- style link to your buttons in the case you can’t add a class. Not sure if that applies or not here.

In your case though looks like there is some ajax loading time delays. Not sure if we can do anything about those except to find a way to speed it up or show a loading symbol.

Not familiar with their methods though I just bookmarked that tutorial for my writer to rewrite using Popup Maker.

ok @danieliser, so it sounds like there is some sort of conflict between essential grid and popup maker that’s causing the slower load time, correct?

is there any way to speed up the ajax loading time through popup maker settings? if not, how can i get a loading symbol to show up so that people dont think the links are dead?

@eswilson – Hmm, in this case the ajax content loading isn’t done by popup maker, its done by ESS Grid. It would be the same even on a page or widget, so that question may be better asked to them since you essentially need to hook into their start loading and done loading events to show and hide the icon.

    Hope that helps.
