Old WP Files wp-register.php & wp-pass.php Safe to Delete

    I’ve had a WP website for a long time. I recently installed a security plugin. It identified wp-register.php, date December 10, 2010 and wp-pass.php September 18, 2011 as suspicious files. I’ve done some googling and it seems that they are not used anymore and can be safely deleted. Before I do that, I just wanted to check with the experts that is correct.

    Neither of those files is part of 5.4.1, so it should be safe to delete them. (rename them first, just to see if it breaks anything)
