Hello. I keep getting an error “Oh no…This form doesn’t exist. Head back to the manage forms page and select a different form.” I am using a form that I have used before and it is working elsewhere on my site. But it won’t show up in my top opt-in.

I have also tried to add a new form, and every time I check it and save, it reverts back to the old form, and won’t save the new one. I’ve also deleted the form and started from scratch, still will not update or fix the form.

    I appreciate your help.

    Thanks!

    Hi @dominadoll,

Have you changed your API key, migrated your website, imported/exported your forms, or made other similar changes recently?

Are you able to see your lists of forms in the sidebar menu?

Let us know & sorry for the annoyance.

    All the best,
    Kevin.

No I haven’t made any changes except update my plugins.
Yes, I can see my lists of forms, but I don’t have a sidebar, so not sure what you mean. When I open Easy Forms, I can see all of my forms there.

    Appreciate your help.

I misunderstood your first issue. Okay. So how are you adding this optin form? Are you using our shortcode or are you adding it via a widget?

If you’re using a shortcode, can you show me the shortcode you’re using?

I am adding it via a widget. The Easy Mail Chimp Forms widget. Then I select the form I want. Then save. If I choose my old form, it says it doesn’t work (but the same form is working in my footer). If I choose a new form I just made, it reverts back to the old form and n’t let me save the new form. I’ve deleted the forms, copied them and made new ones, uninstalled plugins, deleted the widget and started over, nothing seems to work.

    TY!

So I still don’t know what’s going on but can you try adding our shortcode into a standard Text Widget. The shortcode for you will be [yikes-mailchimp form="1"].

I’m off for the night but I will be back tomorrow to help you resolve this.

Again, sorry for the troubles – I don’t know what’s causing the widget to malfunction.

    All the best,
    Kevin.

I did try that earlier, and it would not stay in the format of my page. It had spacing between each field (name) (email) (submit) like about 2 inches in between each field going down my page and looked terrible.

    Hi @dominadoll,

Agh, okay, yeah that happens with some shortcodes in standard widgets.

Can you try deleting the widget, saving it, then refreshing the page, then adding a new widget? Does that give you the same error?

    Let me know,
    Kevin.
