I recently installed a fresh version of wordpress, and tried accessing the admin panel, only to reach:

    http://cl.ly/image/2I0O0J310B3O

I thought it might have to do this error on the page:

“ERROR: The themes directory is either empty or doesn’t exist. Please check your installation.”

but the error doesn’t make much sense, since there are things (including an index.php) in my wp-content/themes folder.

Any help would be much appreciated!

It looks like your wp-admin.css file cannot be loaded

    Heya johnthewordpresser2,

Yeah, anevins is right. That screenshot is definitely lacking some style.

Since it was a new install, you might just try reuploading your WP files, especially if you’re seeing other errors on the site (related or not).

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers! :)

Thanks James, looks like it was a bad load-scripts.php file.

    Mucho gracias!
