Odd Behaviour When Creting/Editing Menus

    Hi,

    Great plugin but I’ve been having issues with it lately.

    When I create a menu for a user role, then save it, the menu displays OK but some of the icons don’t display.

    Additionally, when I go back to edit the menu and save again, some of the menu items disappear (see image)

    Missing menu items.

    Do you know why this might be?

    OK, so the icons issue is down to incorrectly specified ‘dashicons’ references.

    e.g. You’ve used ‘dashicons-admin-pages’ instead of ‘dashicons-admin-page’ (https://developer.wordpress.org/resource/dashicons/#admin-page).

    Might be an idea to go through those to check they’re correct.

    Thanks for the catch, Jimmy. Sorry for these issues.

    I’ll correct that dashicon reference in a patch. As for the menu items issue, this system will be different in a newer (not yet released) version of Client Dash. For now, can you let me know the following?

    – Active plugins
    – WordPress version
    – Client Dash version

    Hi, thanks and no problem.

    So, currently I’m using the following:

    • WP Version: 4.7.3
    • CD Version: 1.6.14

    Plugins:

    • All In One SEO Pack
    • Client Dash
    • Fusion Builder
    • Fusion Core
    • Google Analytics Dashboard for WP
    • ManageWP – Worker
    • Slider Revolution
    • User Role Editor

    I’ve created you an Admin user on the staging site. You should have received an email to reset your password.

    Thanks for your patience and helping hand with this, Jimmy.

    I was able to figure out the bug. It was a conflict with the mega menu that comes with your theme. I just pushed a patch to Client Dash that will help sort out this conflict! You may need to recreate your menus if things still seem odd.

    Updated the plugin and re-saved the menu. Works a treat.
