Hello @smittyfinance,
I fully examined the issue you have raised on this topic and was unable to replicate it on my end, and no similar issues have been reported by other users to this moment.
Unfortunately, the information provided in this thread in regards to the problems you are facing are insufficient for troubleshooting purposes and a possibility to understand the reason why this is happening on your end.
Kindly share the following info that could help us understand the issue you described better and hopefully help you resolve it:
1. Detailed explanation of the issue you are experiencing; when did you first notice the problem occurring (after a particular update, using a specific device, etc), as well as the steps of you take that trigger the issue in case the problem is not constantly present on your website, especially on the frontend. You can attach screenshots or a short video of the issue.
2. Explain to us step by step how we can reproduce the issue so we can recreate it somewhere other than your website.
You can upload your files using one of the following online services:
https://postimages.org
https://imgbb.com
https://loom.com
https://drive.google.com3. Kindly provide us with your system environment information. If you’re running Elementor, navigate to Elementor > System Info in your WP dashboard.
You can send the information as code here or upload them to http://pastebin.com/ and get an exclusive link.
Before sending these, please make sure that:
Everything on your website is running the latest versions (WP, theme, plugins).
If possible, perform a basic troubleshooting checkup method and make sure the issue is related to our theme or plugin(s). To do this, deactivate all other plugins then activate them one by one and check for this issue. Continue doing this until you find what product is causing a conflict with our product. Then provide the details as explained above.Note 1: Please disable all Elementor Experiments from WP Dashboard > Elementor > Settings > Experiments, and recheck your issue.
Note 2: If you have any cache plugin or server cache(CDN / Browser Cache and Cookies and …), you need to clear its cache contents or disable them to see your changes.
Please keep us posted.
Thank you,
Best RegardsHello Shahin,
1. Did not use Elementor for two months, so I’m not sure how long this issue is going on. I used several devices and get the same error. Every time i use Elementor the error occurs. The frontend looks like it should.
2. The error only occurs when using Elemtor. For exmaple when i write a new article. When i turn off the Ocean extra plugin elementor works fine.
3. https://pastebin.com/pYM3RksU
Experiments are turned off, cache is cleared.
Kind regardsChristian
Hi @smittyfinance,
Thanks for reaching out.
Unfortunately, absolutely none of our users have reported a similar problem, neither we’re able to replicate it on our end.
Disabling Ocean Extra only disables premium Ocean plugins, and some additional features that you can use on top of the OceanWP theme. Like WordPress widgets, metabox settings etc.
Judging by your Elementor backend screenshot, something is breaking the backend styling. What I also noticed is that you have a way too low WordPress Memory Limit for a configuration like yours where you’re running quite a number of strong plugins (Elementor Pro, Jetpack, Yoast, etc). You’d need at least 768 or 1024M.
I also noticed you are also running ads and similar third-party scripts.
You haven’t mentioned, but did you examine third-party plugins by leaving Ocean Extra enabled, including the caching plugin? Aka, did you disable all plugins except for E, E Pro, Ocean Extra and other Ocean plugins and check the page? Then started enabling all other plugins one by one and then examined the page?
I would also highly recommend that you ask your hosting provider to increase your WP Memory Limit Accordingly.
Appreciate your time and input in advance
