    Hello,

    I am running a WordPress site with the LSCache plugin on a VERY fast and optimized VPS.

    I am noticing that with memcached enabled via object caching in the LSCache plugin settings, the WP back-end slows down to a crawl!

    In some instances, I am getting 10-20 second page load times in the back-end. As soon as I disable it, it drops down to what feels like less than a second. What gives?

    My understanding is that LSCache + Object Caching (memcached) is meant to provide an INSANE performance increase when enabled; especially where WordPress, specifically the back-end, is concerned.

    Please advise!

    Hi,

    is meant to provide an INSANE performance increase when enabled;

    then I am sure you have some misunderstanding about how WordPress’ object cache works

    performance increase -> maybe

    INSANE -> definitely not.

    but generally speaking , even no improvement , with 10-20 seconds delayed , that’s something wrong , mostly plugin conflict

    please try disbale all other plugins and only keep LSCWP object cache enabled , see how it goes

    Best regards,
