    Hi there,

Since I did not receive any notifications even though I have been using WPForms frequently in the past month, I decided to test the form. I filled in the form a couple of times, but I did not always receive the notification. Could you check if I missed any replies to my form that do not contain the word TEST?

    Thanks!
    Esther

    Hi @estherinutrecht ,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with email delivery.

To troubleshoot the issue, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.

If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent directly from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.

To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

Regarding your question about checking missed entries, in WPForms Lite, entries are not stored, and there isn’t a way to view past submissions. Entry storage is available with our paid license only, so unfortunately, we’re not able to check if any submissions were missed.

I recommend reaching out to your hosting provider to check if they store undelivered emails. Many hosts maintain email logs or backups, which can be a great way to recover any undelivered form submissions.

    I hope this helps 🙂

    Hi @estherinutrecht ,

We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
