Notification for private posts?

    Hi,

    I want to use private posts for internal communication..
    Unfortunately, if I set a post to privately published, I do not receive a notification. So my question is rather trivial:

    Is there a way to get notified for new private posts, changes made to them or comments on them? Maybe I also just overlooked something.

    Hi semf,
    Thanks for your message.

    Not currently, no. BNFW relies on posts transitioning to the published status for New Post Notifications to be triggered.

    I’d recommend using a separate WordPress installation as an internet communications tool. You’ll probably find more plugins work better in this situation too.
