Hey! I use WordPress with wooCommerce. For some reason, my low stock notification emails are going to a junk email which I don’t use anywhere on the back end of my WordPress site or wooCommerce. All wooCommerce emails function properly. Where does WordPress get the email to send low stock notification emails to me and how do I change it?

Also, and this might be related, I couldn’t log on to this website using the same account name and password as I use to log-in and edit my site. I had to create a junk account to write this. Is that normal? My Gravatar doesn’t seem to update too, which isn’t the end of the world, but it makes me wonder if I don’t have access to the proper account (to address the initial issue).

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I recommend asking at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/#new-post so the plugin’s / theme’s developers and support community can help you with this.

Your login here has absolutely nothing to do with your login on your own site. They’re separate sites.

    Will do. Thanks!

Actually, I am not sure if its a wooCommerce issue. I just changed my password and the email address was the same as the low stock notification emails. Both emails state it is from WordPress. The “change my password” email goes to the correct email (the low stock email is the only one that goes to the wrong address for some reason).

What do you have under SETTINGS->GENERAL? That’s the usual fall-back address.

Also, what’s the email for the admin accounts you have set up?

There is only one field for email, and it’s the admin email address which is accurate.

So that’s the email involved. What do you see as the email for that user? If that’s what Woo is using, you need to talk to them about how the email is sent.

I went to wooCommerces site, which forced me to sign in with a WordPress.com account, which used the junk mail. I don’t think that will fix it since I use WordPress.org, but it was the only place I could find that used the junk email, and it’s worth a shot. I guess I’ll find out next time something low is in stock.

    Thanks!

Oops… looks like I did something to mess up my gravatar too. Poo 🙁

    Edit: Fixed!

Sadly, my above statement did not fix the issue. I will reach out to the WooCommerce forum, but I still suspect its a WordPress issue. The email is from WordPress and all my wooCommerce emails go to the correct emails. The only email that goes to the wrong one is the low stock notification from WordPress.

If anyone else has a possible solution, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

This issue was solved and it was a wooCommerce setting. Thanks for referring me to the correct place.

Here was the solution if anyone stubbles across this page with a similar issue:

WP Admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory
