Hello @sanjeevsetu,
Thanks for reporting this, and sorry for the trouble.
You were right. This was a bug on our end, and we’ve fixed it. The issue was affecting ThinkRank activation on some local WAMP setups, which is why you were seeing the notice during activation.
We’ve prepared a fixed build of ThinkRank 2.6.0 for you:
Download ThinkRank 2.6.0 Fix Build: https://d.pr/f/dohslO
How to install it
- Go to Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin
- Choose the downloaded ZIP file.
- Click Replace current with uploaded.
- Activate ThinkRank as usual.
You don’t need to delete the existing plugin or any data before installing the fix.
Also, the plugin will still show version 2.6.0 after installing this build. That’s expected since this is a fix build and we’re not changing the version number. Once the fix is included in the regular ThinkRank update, you can update normally. If you’d rather wait for the regular update, that’s completely fine too.
Please let me know how it goes. And thanks again for helping us catch this.
Hello @sanjeevsetu,
Just a quick follow-up on this.
We released the fix in ThinkRank 2.7.0, so you no longer need to use the development build we shared earlier. Please update ThinkRank to the latest version, 2.7.0, from your WordPress dashboard. Once updated, the issue should now be resolved.
Please let us know how it goes after the update. If you still run into any issues, just let us know and we’ll be happy to take another look.
Thanks again for helping us catch this!
Hello @sanjeevsetu ,
Hope you’re doing well.
As we’re not getting any response from you, we are assuming your issue has been solved. And so, we’re going to mark this topic as resolved now. If the issue still persists, feel free to reply here and we’ll be happy to assist further.
Thank you.
