• Perhaps I’m being obtuse here but I can’t get this to work with the Hueman theme. If I put in a short code on a page in Hueman nothing is rendered. If I switch the theme to another it works fine. Is there something I’m missing?

    Thanks
    Ben

Nope – it should work with normal widgets and normal themes.
I just downloaded the Hueman theme and the ‘do_widget’ shortcode worked for me on a page.

Although the Hueman text contrast is shocking – I’d run an accessibility test on that and increase the contrast. No way my husand would cope with the low contrast.
    Yeah – not great http://wave.webaim.org/report#/https://demo-hueman.presscustomizr.com/

    1) Check whether the html is being generated, but perhaps you just not seeing it – maybe it’s coming up as white on white – a common problem.

    2) Try a different widget to check if it’s a widget anomaly.

If the html is there and it’s just a styling problem (white on white) See the section on styling here https://wordpress.org/plugins/amr-shortcode-any-widget/#faq
