Hi djtonyschwartz,
Don’t worry, we’re here to help you.
It looks like a cache issue.
Could you help to temporary disable FlyingPress cache and check if it works please?

Yes, disabling FlyingPress let it work.
What do I need to do in FlyingPress to make it work when the FP plugin is active?
Hello @djtonyschwartz,
You can exclude the protected page.
https://docs.flying-press.com/article/165-exclude-pages-from-caching
Please try and let us know if that does not help. You can reach out to us by email at support(at)wpfolio.com
I guess that would work. It’s just another step to remember, and I’d have to go back through other posts to see which ones have content within the post protected.
Thanks.
Hi @djtonyschwartz,
We understand that it can be time-consuming and an extra step to remember. You can try using a different caching plugin such as
- W3 Total Cache
- WP Super Cache
- WP Fastest Cace
Or if you would like to use FlyingPress then you can explore the option of writing custom code to exclude the protected pages from caching. This approach would require some development knowledge or the assistance of a developer.
Feel free to reach back by email at support(at)wpfolio.com should you require further assistance.
I did get this to work on my own. Here is the entire list of cookies I bypassed:
pda_protect_password
wp-postpass-role_*
ppw_cat-*
ppw_rc-*
Hi djtonyschwartz,
That’s great when hear you get this to work on your own.
However, when we double check and enter the password.
It shows “Cookie check failed”.
The error message is returned by WordPress itself when your nonce tokens are cached and expired when the form is submitted.
Does it works on your end?
