Here is a link to an example page on my website: http://www.top10films.co.uk/archives/24256
If you scroll down to the paragraph beginning: “But as his life in the spotlight grows, is he worried the movies…” – this is where an advert is placed but as you can see it is not showing.
I have the same problem. Not working after update.
Glad to hear I’m not the only one Marcolinu. It would be great if the developers found a fix for this promptly.
I’ve used this plugin for over three years without a single problem. It would be a shame (and quite time consuming) to change to another plugin.
Thanks Marcolinu. As far as I can tell from this, Advertising Manager’s developers need to apply the fixes to the plugin and offer a new upgrade.
I hope this is done quite quickly.
I’ve emailed the developer directly.
Hi – got the message. I am actively working on this and will provide a fix ASAP.
@chiefbrody2001: @marcolinu:
I am unable to replicate this. I added the ad code [ad#HTML] to a blog post, and it displays correctly (I set up an ad called ‘HTML’).
Can you give me more details on how you added? Did you add to a blog post, or another way?
If you want to contact me via skype my username is ‘switzer’.
Thanks
Thank you for looking into this switzer.
Example post:
http://www.top10films.co.uk/archives/18977
I have tried to place the google advert code via this code:
<div style=”float: left; padding: 5px;”>[ad#Google text Ad – square no border]</div>
…next to the paragraph beginning “Written by Aykroyd alongside fellow star Harold Ramis, Ghostbusters is the Canadian comedian’s greatest…”
As you can see it isn’t displaying.
@switzer: I “skyped” you a link and some infos.
@all: the ad was diplayed after changing its name …
@marcolinu: What was the name of your ad before it worked? Is there any additional info you can give me about this so I can reproduce? P.S. I did not get any notification from you on Skype
old name: “Google Adsense Banner 468×60”
new name: “test”
I tested the old name again. didn’t work.
i tried a view ad names:
[#adtest]: displayed
[#adtest space]: displayed
[#adGoogle Adsense Banner 468×60]: not displayed
[ad#Adsense – Rectangle links]: not displayed
[#adadsense]: displayed
[#adadsense test]: displayed
[#adAdsense Test]: displayed
[ad#Adsense Test 468]: displayed
[ad#Adsense Test 468×60]: not displayed
[ad#Adsense – Test]: not displayed
Thanks Marcolinu – this is very helpful. I will find time to work on this today.
ups. it was [ad#name] in all cases …
