Snap, this plugin seriously needs sorting, it’s the second glitch in as many weeks and is causing me lost revenue.
Can anyone recommend a different version and get this unreliable nonsense removed from WordPress?

I see the plugin is working fine on your site, however I didn’t receive any e-mail. I can help you if you can let me know what are you using to send mail from your website? Is it SMTP or PHPMail() function or anything else?
Additionally, please check the configuration of the same (SMTP/PHPMail()).
At the moment, I switched to using mailgun which also is not helping as I have not bought the feature but I can send email manually. However in this Email Subscribers & Newsletters plugin, I can’t even send any email.
To answer your question, I just followed the instructions and I believe there are no other SMTP configuration that was mentioned. Can you please help me fix this issue?

The link you mentioned seems to be the instructions for installing the plugin. You can refer this article for not able to send emails.
About SMTP, You may need to use a plugin like Easy WP SMTP to do the same. Please follow this article to know more about how to setup SMTP for your site.

I managed to successfully use the subscription mail.
What I did is download the Easy WP SMTP, input my Mailgun SMTP details. Updated my Settings in wordpress, and input my Mailgun SMTP details.
I tested and it worked. Thank you for your support!
