I’ve just uploaded a new version which uses cleaner code (removed 50% or more JS) and it’s now hooking into some slightly different actions/filters that should be more reliable than before.
Make sure you have no old cached JS files when you try the plugin again.
Make sure in your settings->media the large image size is what you are expecting the images to resize to. I just spent an hour plus debugging an issue with this plugin when the problem was down to my media settings having a large image size of 5000×5000 which would explain why my images weren’t being resized to 1000×1000 as I was expecting.
Let me know how you get on.

Thank you for the update.
Test results:
– On Firefox, it works perfectly.
– Opera (Linux), it works perfectly only if I enable “Do not force the Flash uploader for non Chrome/Firefox browsers“.
– Opera (Linux) without enable the checkbox, it works only on editing posts, not working on Media upload (menu > Media > Add New).
I think it is perhaps Opera is the one should be blamed not this plugin. Consider this topic as resolved.
I’ve updated the supported browser query the plugin does to now include Opera so as long as you are using the most recent version of Opera it should work. I think it’s only the older version of Opera with issues due to not giving access to the uploading files.

Downloaded and tested. I works! Both Opera and Firefox. Thank you very much.
