Hi – just downloaded the ‘Coming Soon Page & Maintenance Mode by SeedProd 5.0.5’ today. In the ‘Message section’ of my ‘Coming Soon Page’ I’m trying to have a Facebook icon (which I uploaded to media) link to my facebook page. I made sure to link a the correct url to the FB icon. The link works perfect in live preview mode, however when I go to my website in both Safari & Chrome, the FB icon links to nothing…or the file url….not to FB
How do I resolve this issue?
Not sure without the url so I can see the code you placed in 😉

Oops, sorry it’s : oakandiron.net
I see it fine, you probably just need to clear your browser cache, screenshot: https://goo.gl/JlafbK
Hi SeedProd – Ok, so i just cleared the browsing cache in Google Chrome. When I go to the site url, everything shows up fine, but the problem is that the Facebook Icon is not linking to the FB page… instead it goes here:
oakandiron.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Oak-and-Iron-Facebook-1.png
When I uploaded the FB Icon media file in the ‘Message section’ of the page, I made sure to add a custom URL to it that links to the FB url. When I’m in ‘live preview’ mode the link to FB works! However, it doesn’t work on the actual page itself. Hope that makes sense!
You are also using W3 total cache, clear that as well.
If you add a cache buster to the url like the link works fine, means it’s a plugin caching issue now.

Ok, so I just cleared my cache and disabled my W3 page cache settings. The FB link is still not working…is there anything else I can do??
All I can tell you is caching is the issue. You have to caches, browser and your plugin. Clear plugin cache then clear your browser cache. :/
I deactivated Coming soon a few hours ago but still get ” Coming Soon”
when trying reach our site at thepoorwritersshoppe.com
I am still getting the ” Coming Soon” page when visiting our site from the Dashboard
I thought it might be firefox cache problem but still get ” Coming Soon”
When I try reach the site on a iPhone or iPad
Very frustrating but Thanks for your rapid reply
Any ideas ?? Should I delete the ” Coming Soon” Plugin?
Should I contact hostgator?
SOLVED! I had to completely deactivate the W3 Total Cache under the ‘Plugins – Installed Plugins’ Settings – now the FB icon links to my FB page!! Thanks so much for your help SeedProd!
@limonatacreative great!
@thepoorwritersshoppe I’ve already replied to your original thread your page is working fine, please do not duplicate post. Link to your post https://wordpress.org/support/topic/logged-in-users-getting-maintenance-mode-display-page/#post-8731433
Yes contact your host if you are still having an issue and let them walk you through clearing their caching layer they use.
