I changed the code to 3.6 and it works somewhat…I no longer have language tabs in my editor to allow me to easily switch from French to English, now I must do everything in html and use the <!--:fr--> codes to identify language.
Any trick at getting the tabbed editor back?
Thanks!
update – I am not only missing the language tabs but I am also missing the editor shortcuts at the top of the editor box when working in html, which now has a title of ‘text’ on the tab. Good thing I know my html codes since I have to do everything manually 🙂
Thanks.
confirmed. works great here.
thanks very much, it works with me although i have the latest wordpress version 3.6.1
We changed the parameter in the qtranslate.php but we still have the
advice , that the qtranslate editor is not ok for the wordpress version.
wordpress version : 3.6.1
qtranslate version : 2.5.36
ah, problem is solved. now it´s working. we had to enter the complete wordpress version into define(‘QT_SUPPORTED_WP_VERSION’, ‘3.6.1’)
You haven’t had any problems with the qTranslate editor, then, s.krueger? I’m tempted to force the editor to run under WP 3.6.1 as well. I wish I hadn’t been too quick to upgrade my WordPress installation, I should have given the plugin authors some time to test and catch up!
Ultimate TinyMCE works perfect on WP 3.6.1 after follow krueger instructions ( define(‘QT_SUPPORTED_WP_VERSION’, ‘3.6.1’) )
I am using English, Spanish and French in my site 1energy1.com
