Hello! I installed the plugin Facebook Open Graph Meta Tags for WordPress on my blog. When I’m writing a post with 5 photos for example, with this plugin I can pick a larger photo 6 for facebook use this photo when someone share the post.

I configured it to show the first photo, which is more attractive visually, but by clicking on the Facebook share button, it is showing the last picture of the post, who is less attractive. Could you help me? If it was missing something to configure? Thank you!

Hi there Thatiane,

Thanks for using our plugin.

The plugin is using the exact same image you chose. The problem is that Facebook (by reasons no one understands) not always respects the og:image tag.

If you go to https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ and insert your URL (use the “Fecth new scrape information” option) you can the the tag is correctly set.

After that if you go and share the link on your timeline, you *should* get the correct image, as you forced Facebook to clear it’s cache.
