Not the entire background changes colour

im playing aroudn with the css and changed most of the background…but some of it still appears in the default white. Please help with this.

my goal is is to make a background in photoshop and attach it in there but i dont’ know what css attribute to add it to. as i still can’t get rid of that white part.
