@ausiuming
It should support Zoom webinars unless you have disabled email field when join via browser.
You can check this setting is checked or not from wp-admin > Zoom Meetings > Setting > Disable Email field when join via browser ?
This option should not be checked.
I can set up Zoom webinars, just users join via browser get an error message “Not support registration webinar” if the webinar requires registration. I guess at that time the plugin is using an older version of Zoom WebSDK.
After a recent update which includes WebSDK 1.8.3. User can join a webinar that requires registration via browser, but only if the registration is automatically approved. If I set manual approval, even approved users will still get the error message “Not support registration webinar”. But no problem if join via Zoom app.
“Disable Email field” is not checked.
@ausiuming
I think this seems to be an issue from Zoom side.
Take a read – https://devforum.zoom.us/t/not-support-registration-webinar-error-in-web-sdk-1-8-0/29768/2
They plan to fix this in 1.9.0 ( I guess waiting is the only option for now )
I have installed the latest version 3.6.29 which used webSDK 1.9.0.
Then I set up a zoom webinar which requires registration and manual approval.
When I “Join via Web Browser”, even approved users will still get the error message “Joining meeting timeout. Fail to join the meeting.”
