This review is not credible. The poster makes a wild conclusion and subsequent allegation with no justification other than finding “many entries in google about hacked contact form 7”.
Rumours abound on the internet. I have not seen any credible reports of security issues with CF7.
I have used the plugin on many different websites and several different servers for many years, along with millions of others, without any security issues.

Well, I installed it on 3 different webspaces, and I only use this plugin in. No others.
When I removed the plugin from the first webspace. It was all fine on it, the ohters were still attacked. Then I removed it on the second webspace, then only the third webspace was attacked. Then I removed it on the third. All attacks has gone.
Yes, I used the contact form many years like you. But now it seems it is not secure for me.
I’m sorry I have to delete the word “many”, but there are entries in google about hacked contact forms.
Mankov, what do you mean by “attacked”, can you be more specific?
