Not responsive in Right Sidebar widget

    Hi there,

    I’m still exploring your plugin but it seems very useful so far.

    I’ve put your widget in the right sidebar of my theme (the 7) and when the window is made smaller, the ads stay the same size and disappear off the window, while other widgets are shrinking correctly.

    I also tried adding right margin, thinking that was the issue, and it didnt do anything.

    Any ideas what’s going wrong?

    Hi PossiblyMaybe,

    thanks for choosing Advanced Ads.

    What is the content of the widget? If it is an image then it depends on the css of your theme whether they get scaled down or not. If another ad type, it depend on whether the content of the ad has a static size or not. Maybe I have a specific idea when I know the content type or even see it live.

    You can also use the Responsive add-on to disable ads for specific browser widths.

    Hi Thomas, thanks for such a quick response to my problem.

    I’m placing an image there, so perhaps I had better contact my theme developers too – but you know what they’re like, they’ll probably say the issue can’t possibly be with their theme 😀

    Perhaps I can send you a link to the site for you to have a look? At the moment the themes own widgets and pictures do all shrink down

    I think if they already do this then there is only a need to change a line in the css. You can contact the theme devs or send me a link with an ad widget and a normal widget with images.

    Just a follow up for anyone reading in:

    I sent a link to my website to the support address and received a reply within a couple of hours for some information. After sending the requested info I’ve received a solution to my problem well within 24 hours.

    First class service, thanks Thomas. I wont hesitate to purchase some add-ons when I get to the stage of my project.
