not redirecting

I’m setting up a redirection for http://www.encuentramaz.com/2014/12/19/
My site never had this page or url active, the date is from before I set up my site, so it’s producing a 404 error. When I redirect to http://www.encuentramaz.com/blog/ but for some reason it’s not working, still going to the old url http://www.encuentramaz.com/2014/12/19/ and therefore still producing the error. How do I fix it?
