    Hi there,

    Thanks for informing about this issue. This is a minor issue which I will address in next update (schedule to be released next week). Other than that, I think it should be perfectly compatible with WP 5.5. However, if you find any other issue, please inform and I will address that as well.

    Hi there,

    I have just made necessary changes in the plugin related to the jQuery deprecated event. However, I will release the official update after a few days along with some other updates.

    Meanwhile you can get the latest version using following steps,

    1. Go to https://wordpress.org/plugins/podcast-player/advanced/
    2. Go to bottom of the page and download “Development version” zip file.
    3. Uninstall and delete your existing podcast player plugin
    4. Re-install the plugin from the zip file you downloaded in step 2.

    It should resolve the jQuery error. Please inform if you need more help on this OR if any other help is required.

    The issue has been resolved in the latest version of podcast player. Please update the plugin and check if it is resolved.
