Not pulling Featured Images correctly

    Featured-image statuses succeed when the WordPress post itself is scheduled for future publication, but fail when the same type of post is published or updated immediately. Immediate actions produce either “Invalid post: Image could not be read from its URL” or a GraphQL assets[0].image.metadata.altText null error. The featured images are existing JPG Media Library attachments with alt text populated before publication.

    I am using Quick Featured Images to assign featured images but I always “Save Draft” and make sure the correct image is assigned, before hitting “Publish” or “Update” as appropriate.

    We’re also seeing this issue for around a week. The developer is unresponsive, unfortunately. Please let me know if you make any progress.

    @csquarent The “Invalid post: Image could not be read from its URL” is likely from Buffer’s API, which they believe to have made improvements towards on August 18th.

    The assets[0].image.metadata.altText issue is likely resolved in 6.2.1, available now.

    Mind trying again to see if the issue persists?
