Not optimal CSS

The CSS of this plugin is not very optimal, its URL ends with /assets/email-subscription.css?ver=0.50, so it is not so easy to optimize and to cache. No way to remove it from the plugin? Why is it done so?
Otherwise the plugin is very good, thanks for it!
