@banny83 – This most likely has to do with being a home.pl subscriber and the “Directory Separator” setting being used on your server.
Unfortunately I have only seen the setting in a graphic using Polish (which I do not read) but recall the most correct setting is the second option.

What kind (where) of settings we talking about?
@banny83 – It would be best to speak with your hosting service if it is indeed home.pl … the settings will be found in your server’s control panel.

Ok, this solved the problem of thumbnails.
Unfortunately, when I add an entry I can’t see “the beam with formatting” where is “key” to insert a gallery for entries/page.
It doesn’t work 🙁 and this can help: I use WordPress in multisite mode…

@banny83 – Aside from the theme, what other differences are there with the site that is not showing the thumbnails? Perhaps that difference is also causing a conflict …

This problem also occurs in the template “Twenty Fifteen”.
Works! I don’t know how, but I have checked wrong type “Display Gallery”
