Not listing latest post

    Yes, the widget is listing the latest post:
    “How to create a recurring appointment in Outlook” of August 10, 2015.

    The previous post is “Turning 1…” of July 24, 2015.

    Now the confusion starts: This post is marked as “sticky”. So it is listed in the “Recent posts” list as the first post.

    Not in the widget, because the post of August 10 is newer, so at the first position now, and the post of July 14 is the second item in the list.

    You can check in the widget in the backend the box near “Keep sticky posts on top of the list” and you will get the same behaviour at both lists.
