Hello @donnalussier
Are you receiving other mails from WordPress (e.g. Reset Password, new User, etc)? If not please check your mail-server-configuration. Please also keep in mind that users dont get notifications for their own content. They also need to subscribe to topics/forums for notifications.

Hi Asgaros, yes, I am receiving other emails from WP. I understand users don’t get notifications for their own content. I am the webmaster and I am not getting notified of anyone posting information.
Donna
Hello again,
have you activated the “Notify site owner about new topics” in the forum settings? If so, the mail (for new topics, there is no for posts) is sent to the WordPress mail which you set during the installation of WordPress. Please also check your spam folder.
If its still not working there is maybe a problem with another (security) plugin which prevents the sending of mails. I am using the plugin on a couple of websites and notifications are working fine.
Asgoros, as mentioned in my original post, I checked off the notify site owner.
Nothing in spam folder.
I guess I’ll just have to live with it. What an annoyance.
Still not getting notifications. Other people are except me, the Admin.
Hello again, @donnalussier
I am sorry, but I cant reproduce this “bug” at all and I did not get any similar reports about this problem from other users. Have you checked other used WordPress plugins? It can be possible that some of them prevents other extensions from sending mails.

Do you get mails of other WordPress activities?
Keep in mind that you dont get notifications about your own content.

hi asgaros,
yes i checked spam folder there are no message.
i got all the mail from wordpress activity.
i am admin and site owner.
I am still having this problem. No notifications at all from anyone’s posts. I even changed my email but it didn’t make a difference.
I still try to reproduce this error. Here some more questions:
– Are you using the forum with the normal [forum] shortcode or do you use shortcode arguments (e.g. [forum category=”1″])?
– What are your sender name/mail settings?

i use [forum] shortcode . how can i configure mail setting?
even i customize plugin and hard coded the admin email address but no notification receive .
In Forum -> Options -> Notifications there are two input-fields for sender name and email. Can you tell me the values which are written there? Maybe it is some problem with some special characters or there are no values at all.
