Not getting mails from contact us form

    Hello
    I am not receiving emails from the Contact Us form. I have read up a lot from the internet about this problem and tried to troubleshoot it, but to no avail.
    When I use the wordpress contact form, I get a message in the “feedback” section of my admin panel, but no email.
    When I used WPForms plugin for the contact form, I did not get anything – no email, no message in the feedback section.

    I have installed WP-Mail-SMTP plugin for sending mails through SMTP. The test email from that plugin is working fine.

    The Check Email plugin also sends mails without any issues.

    Hi, @anomitra
    WordPress uses PHP mail, some hosts disable email to avoid spam – you may need to contact their support team and make sure Sendmail is enabled.

    Have you tried using another email address? (one that’s not the same domain as your site).

    hi @auludag, I did not receive the mail, but like I mentioned, it showed up in my feedback tab in the WP admin panel.

    hi @wbcomdesigns, I’ve already installed WP-Mail-SMTP plugin so that mails are sent in SMTP, not PHP..a test mail from that plugin works fine
    yes I have tried using a gmail address

    Hi @anomitra,

    We had a similar issue using SMTP and found the SendGrid (https://wordpress.org/plugins/sendgrid-email-delivery-simplified/) plugin works great. It uses an API to send the emails rather SMTP which can tricky to configure.
