I’m not getting email notification when people leave comments. I’m using the Akismet plugin.
I have checked the two boxes after “Email me whenever.” The email addresses under Users > Email and Settings > Email Address are the same.
I’ve tested my email address and checked the spam folder.
Any ideas?

Deactivate all plugins and see if any plugin is causing trouble.
It is worth to try this plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/
Also check your functions.php file whether wp_notify_postauthor() or wp_mail() function is defined…
