Not generating API key

The plugin installed and I was able to activate it. But the “Generate API Key” step never appeared. This is all new to me, so I may have missed something. But the plugin does not appear to be doing anything. There is no Settings to check. Just Activate and Deactivate. My site already has malware, so I really need to figure this out. Thanks.
