Not Found, Error 404

I have installed Duplicator as a Plugin for my WordPress Associate Child Theme site. I did a system check and everything was “Pass” and “Good” but it says “The W3 Total Cache: Cache Directory Not Found”.

Next, I create a package. The package size is 0B and I am able to download the installer, but when I try to download the package it sends me to a page that looks like the web site and says:

“Not Found, Error 404
The page you are looking for no longer exists. Perhaps you can return back to the site’s homepage and see if you can find what you are looking for. Or, you can try finding it with the information below.”

And it lists links in these categories: Pages, Categories, Authors, Monthly, Recent Posts.

The site was originally created at the domain http://www.malawiwin.com and the domain was changed to http://www.win-international.org. And we recently did a transfer of ownership of http://www.win-international.org and the content is up on http://www.malawiwin.com, but not on http://www.win-international.org. PLEASE HELP!!! We need to move all the content that is currently on http://www.malawiwin.com to http://www.win-intrnational.org.

Hey WINInternational,

It might be a timeout or permissions issue. Are there any clues in your log file? FYI please don’t post any log data to the forum as it contains sensitive information…

Ok. I just read through my log again and realized that it says that the ZipArchive Class did not close successfully. It says I most likely have a disk quota issue on my server. I’m getting a message to check my disk space usage to make sure I can store the zip successfully. Unfortunately, I do not know how to do that.

Hey WINInternational,

To check you disk quota you will need to contact your hosting provider they should be able to help you pin-point where its at…

OK. I fixed the “Not Found, Error 404” by upgrading EVERYTHING on my site (WordPress, plugins, etc.). And I contacted my hosting provider. The reason why Duplicator isn’t working is because there is a timeout issue. They said they could not assist me with this because it involves coding, which is beyond the support they provide. They gave me this link, but I don’t know what to do with it!

And is it a timeout issue on the server I’m taking the site from or the server I’m sending the site to? Thanks!

Hey WINInternational,

The plugin does make use of that function and sets the value to 5000 which is equal to 83 minutes. So either your host doesn’t honor the set_time_limit function or your site is too larger because its taking over 83 minutes to archive. This means your site would most likely be will over 4GB and the plugin won’t be able to archive that much data….
