Not filtering or something else wrong?

    Hey!

    I have a Custom Post Type called University.
    It has two taxonomies attached: Country and City.
    The filters shows on the page where universities are listed. One with all countries and one with all the cities.
    But I would expect that when I choose a country, then only the cities in that country should be showned?
    But all the cities, for all the coyntries, are listed in the combobox.
    Am I doing something wrong, some setting not correct or is it not what the filter is supposed to do?
    I’ve tried to disable all the pllugins on the site, except CPT UI and Advanced Custom Fields, but the result is the same.

    Hi Lars,

    No this is a feature not yet implemented in the plugin.
    I want to keep the plugin as lightweight as possible and to resolve dependencies between terms in different taxonomies I’d have to write quite a bit of javascript and extra loops running using AJAX.

    In short it’s not implemented so this behaviour is expected but I’m looking to solve it. I just haven’t figured out the best possible solution yet 🙂
