First time see shortcode used there =)
Not sure if it is possible to use it like that.
We will test it there but I think the problem is that on the moment our filters(shortcode) is running there is no useful info about page we can get. No products query yet.

Version 1.6 has serious changes that could break it. Please try to download previous version of the plugin here https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-ajax-filters/advanced/

I would not like to install previous version and not have new versions of the plugin(
Our QA did check it. It is working even in new version.
It could be some plugin with newer version or the one you are missing on the dev.
