Not compatible with WordPress 5.5

    Hi! I upgraded to WordPress 5.5 and the Popups, Welcome Bar, Optins and Lead Generation Plugin – Icegram is causing a javascript error in the admin:

    “Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(…).live is not a function”

    I installed the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin to temporarily resolve the issue and it is saying:

    “jQuery.fn.live() is deprecated”

    Please update the plugin to be compatible with WordPress 5.5. Thank you!

    Hello Joel,

    We’re sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the editor.

    After the WordPress 5.5 update, several plugins, including Icegram is conflicting with the WordPress interface.

    With the update to WordPress 5.5, a migration tool known as jquery-migrate will no longer be enabled by default. This may lead to unexpected behaviors in some themes or plugins who run older code.

    We have raised a bug report for for our development team to look into. We’ll get back to you as soon as we have an update.

    In the meanwhile, we recommend you to install the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin as it serves as a temporary solution, enabling the migration script for your site to give us and other developers of your other plugins get some time to update, and test code.

    Hello Joel,

    We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. We have released the free version of Icegram today. This issue is related to the Icegram Engage (Premium Plan). We have fixed the issue for this as well and are planning to release it within 2-3 days. We will notify you once we release it.

    How can I update the plugin Icegram Engage Pro to 1.9.1? It is still version 1.4 and there is no update in wp admin.

    I’m getting the same error:

    jQuery.fn.live() is deprecated

    Also there is no way to download new version from the account in our site.
