Sorry to hear that the responsiveness of your site was affected with Hummingbird, however, the SetSail is a premium theme and I couldn’t test this further on my end in order to see what could be causing issues with that specific theme.
Could you start a support thread for your issue and provide us with some further information about the issue you are experiencing?
For example, if the issue is happening as soon as the Hummingbird plugin is activated or when you activate certain modules like caching, asset optimization, etc.
I can see that the theme in question didn’t have any updates since December last year so can you check with theme devs if the theme is fully compatible with latest WP version, and if it’s using latest version of page builder and slider that come bundled with the theme?
If you could also check with your theme devs about this and see what might be causing the issue we would gladly look into it further if there’s anything that could be addressed from our end.
