Not assigning correct role

    I have setted up a form that needs admin approval before registering, and setted a custom message to show the user. But when registering through the form, first, the message does not show up, and the roles are empty when seeing the user on the backend.

    Hi @carol3005,

    Do you use a WordPress multisite?
    Do you have any other membership plugins installed?
    What “Registration Default Role” have you selected in Ultimate member -> Settings -> Appearance -> Regsitration form?

    No, I don’t use multisite
    I have no other membership plugins installed
    The registration default role is “Student”, another role that I have created
